1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Blubuilds LLC ("Blubuilds," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Yumzy mobile application (the "App").

Yumzy keeps the meals and lists you create on your device, and you do not need to create an account to use it. To run the App, process subscriptions, measure our advertising, and improve the product, we and a small number of service providers collect limited information, including analytics data, session recordings, subscription activity, and the preferences you enter. This Policy describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. The Short Version

• You do not need an account, and the meal plans and grocery lists you build are stored on your device.
• We use analytics that collect a device identifier, your in-app activity, and session recordings to understand and improve how the App is used.
• When you view or purchase a subscription, our paywall provider processes your subscription status and certain preferences (including dietary preferences) to manage and personalize offers.
• To generate meal plans, we send limited preferences (dietary restrictions, budget, and household size) to an AI provider.
• Subscriptions are billed by Apple; we never receive your payment card number.
• Some information we process — such as dietary preferences — can reveal sensitive characteristics, and we treat it accordingly.
• We work with advertising partners, including Meta, to measure and deliver ads. This involves tracking you across other companies' apps and websites only if you allow it through Apple's tracking prompt.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The meal plans, grocery lists, cooking progress, and many of the selections you make (such as your store, budget, household size, dietary preferences, chosen vibes, kitchen appliances, and custom grocery items) are stored locally on your device to make the App work.

Some of these selections are also shared with the service providers described below to run analytics, manage subscriptions, and generate your meal plans. Because your core plan data is stored on your device, if you delete or reinstall the App, or reset, lose, or replace your device, that on-device data may be permanently lost, and we cannot recover it. We recommend keeping your own device backups.
